WriterStats Utility Commands

WriterStats has a variety of fun utility commands you can use to help you with your writing. These commands are detailed below.

Choosing Between Options

You can make WriterStats select an option using the /choose command. Provide the options you wish to pick from seperated by commas in the options field, shown in the image below:

Flipping a Coin

You can have WriterStats flip a coin for you using the /flip command.

Rolling an 8-ball

You can have WriterStats roll an 8-ball for you using the /8ball command.

Defining a Word

You can have WriterStats define a word for you using the /define command. Type in the word you wish to define in the word field to fetch its definitions.

Using the Thesaurus

You can have WriterStats get you synonyms and related words for a word using the /thesaurus command. Type in the word you wish to define in the word field to fetch its synonyms.

All synonyms are sourced from the Merriam Webster Dictionary.

Roll a Dice

You can have WriterStats roll one (or more) dice using the /dice command. This defaults to rolling one six sided dice.

You can specify the number of dice you wish to roll in the number field, and how many sides you wish for the dice to have in the sides field.

Generating a Name

You can have WriterStats generate a name for you using the /generate name command! This defaults to generating a human-style name, though you can select another category using the category field of the command.

Generating a Quote

You can have WriterStats get a quote for you using the /generate quote command!

Generating a Writing Prompt

You can also have WriterStats get a writing prompt for you using the /generate prompt command.
