WriterStats Sessions

WriterStats sessions are how you write with WriterStats! A session is a single block of writing, where you write a certain number of words in a certain amount of time. WriterStats gives you three key ways to create sessions:

  • Individual Sessions: Individual sessions are writing sessions where you write on your own, and can be timed or open-ended.
  • Group Sessions: Also known as sprints, group sessions involve competitively writing with other server members for a fixed period of time.
  • Manual Sessions: Manual sessions allow you to log a writing session after it happened, contributing to your writing statistics.

tip

If you ever incorrectly enter data for a session, don't worry! Sessions can be edited and deleted using the /session edit and /session delete commands. See more about this on the Session Management page!
