Managing Sessions

WriterStats allows you to modify your past sessions to correct any mistakes you might have made during the submission process. These commands allow you to view, edit and delete past sessions to suit your needs.

Viewing a Session

You can view the details of a past session using the /session view command, along with the date and session number of your session. These can be obtained using WriterStats' statistics commands, which are detailed in the statistics section of the guide.

Editing a Session

You can edit a past session using the /session edit command.

The various options for the command are shown below:

  • session_date: The date of the session you wish to edit. Format: DD/MM/YYYY. You can also use "today" or "yesterday" to select a date.
  • session_number: The session number of the session you wish to edit. This can be found using statistics commands.
  • writing_time: The new length of the session, in minutes. If you want more detailed control, you can use the hours/minutes/seconds format. All 3 fields must be provided.
  • words: Optional. The new amount of words you've written/rewritten in the session.
  • net_change: Optional. Your project's new net wordcount change. Leave blank if it's the same as your words written.

Deleting a Session

You can delete a past session using the /session delete command.

The various options for the command are shown below:

  • session_date: The date of the session you wish to delete. Format: DD/MM/YYYY. You can also use "today" or "yesterday" to select a date.
  • session_number: The session number of the session you wish to delete. This can be found using statistics commands.

Click on the "Confirm" button on the embed that follows to complete deleting your session.
